Amos 4.0°W reception in Brussels???

Post by whirlwind »

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to receive the signal from this satellite with a 80 cm size dish? I have an older Triax DVB 63s receiver and 0.5db lnb.
Thanx for any kind of info.

Hello !!
It is not possible to receive this satellite with 80cm dish............
Minimum size of you're dish should be 1.2m to 1.8m (max),
with low noise lnb (0.3db) will do the job............
ALL THE BEST

Hi there, I pick up Amos 1 with a 1 meter dish and a 0.5 LNB from Leuven (20KMs from Brussels).

sure, but it´s a matter of what you want to receive (e.g. only high-scoring MCPC channels) and if you want to just sit back and enjoy watching - or permanently having one eye at the sky
