hi m8 this might be hope here but im on the right side of the coast here in the uk.i have a 1.8 channel master with feedhorn.now im getting the afrcan beam @ 22w now but it is a weak signel but enough to see tv5.ie about 40% signel here.what do you think my chances are on 27w m8?

@ 22°W; which frequency do U mean for TV5 ?

In my opinion (and according to my experimetn here) U can't get 27°W spot2 with a 1.80m dish.

In C band TV 5 Afrique is on 22° W - 3650 R – SR 27500 (about 39 dbW in U.K.).
In C band, i.e., RTP Africa is on 27.5° W - 3830 R – SR 6260 (about 37 dBW in U.K.).
I think Sid can see these channels with 1.80 m. dish size.
But nothing in Ku band of African channels.
